IKCO Set a New Record in Sales

IKCO set a new record in sales in the first quarter of the year (March 21 to June 20, 2010), showing an unprecedented 55% growth incomparable with the past years.

Ali Asghar Saraeinia IKCO Marketing and Sales Deputy CEO in this regard said, “Although Iranian car market usually experiences a slowdown during the first months of the year, the company has sold some 155 thousand sets of different passenger cars and pickups in this very three months, 55 thousand sets more than the same period last year.”
Referring to the growth of IKCO sales in the last three months of the previous year, Saraeinia stated, “We predict we would reach a new sales’ record in the second quarter this year.”
IKCO sold 568 thousand sets of various passenger cars and pickups last year that was 15 percent more than the year before. The company also intends to run up its production to 785 thousand sets by the end of the current Iranian year i.e. March 20, 2011.
