Anatoly Pavlovich, the head of Iran-Belarus parliamentary friendship group in a visit to IKCO in this regard said, “IKCO is a company with huge capabilities that can keep pace with giant carmakers and Belarus is ever interested in paving the way for IKCO activities.”
“Belarus parliament will do its best to facilitate the development of Samand site in this country and smooth away the existing obstacles,” he underlined. Pavlovich finally said, he predicts a very promising future for IKCO presence in Belarus and this country would undoubtedly turn into one of IKCO’s most important export bases.
Pavlovich visit to IKCO took place after the early May’s meeting of the two countries Ministers of Industries on broadening IKCO activities in Belarus, in which Iranian part announced IKCO’s readiness to introduce two new products following the implementation of Unison Company’s second phase.
IKCO started its cooperation with Unison in August 2006. Unison is located in Minsk Free economic zone. IKCO holds 42.1% of Unison shares and the rest belongs to Belarus governmental and private section.
