Mohammad Reza Motamed, IKCO deputy CEO in Tondar 90 production in this regard said, “Based on this assessment, IKCO-produced Tondar 90 shows a higher production quality in its body and trim as well as suspension and steering systems.”
He underscored that IKCO’s Tondar quality promoted 13.6 percent in comparison with the previous assessment while Pars Khodro products show a 6.3 decline in quality.
Referring to Renault Green Mark granted to IKCO for Tondar last year, Motamed said, “The mark is Renault quality and production process certificate granted to IKCO in the latest assessment done in Renault sites all around the world.”
He finally pointed to IKCO plan for producing and marketing 45 thousand units of Tondar 90 in the current Iranian calendar year (started on March 21, 2010) and added, “Tondar 90 production started at a daily basis of 75 units at the beginning of the year and this would run up to 210 units per day by the end of the year.”
